Draco's grand-mére, glaring down from her portrait as Astoria staggers into Draco's bedroom, understood what she was getting in marrying Abraxas. Now it's Astoria's turn. And really, she thinks, looking around at the finery, isn't it a small price to pay for this?
Her empty glass leaves a ring on the dresser as she returns the letters she found-letters from Ron Weasley, filled with love and unspeakable things. Glass in hand again, she chooses gin from her husband's bar and decides to forgo ice.
