Bloody hell. That was horrifying.
It feels a bit odd to say that I liked it, but I did - you handled some very dark subject matter very well. Molly's humiliation is heartbreaking but Ginny's defiance is fantastically Ginny, even though she concedes somewhat to spare her family more pain.

And this line:

Bellatrix may be dead, but Molly's family would never fully recover from this, and they all knew it

sums things up perfectly; indeed, I'd love to see a continuation of this, dealing with the aftermath.

Also, you're a tricksy one, Mystery Author - all the way through I was half-expecting George to turn up unexpectedly, casting hexes here, there and everywhere, coming to his family's rescue and it just broke me a little that it never happened. It was quite good, the way you set the possibility up, only to not deliver and make Molly's torture all the more wrenching.

Anyway, I've rambled long enough - you did a fab job, thank you so much! I think I'm now off to read it again! :D
