PSA - Do NOT Buy From Threadless.com

Wife® discovered today that Threadless.com has charged/attempted to charge 4 - $25 charges and 1 - $1300 charge to our bank account. Fortunately the credit union's security company caught the unusual activity. Apparently they were seeing large numbers of fraudulent charges coming from this company. If you need temp help with $$, we are actually in a position to be able to help a little right now. Let us know.

You may be able to go into the bank, with your ID, to withdraw money. Sometimes when they can lay eyes on your and your photo ID, they will let you have your own money.

Yeah, actually, the bank (credit union) was able to access my account when I called them, tell me to contact the security company to figure out why it had happened & unlock the account for all but debit card transactions. When we found out from the security company what had happened, and that the cards would have to be deactivated due to the fraud, the bank said to come to the branch office and they would issue new ones on the spot that would be active within the hour. So thanks for having us in the safety net, but we did OK, thanks to a great CU!
