11/10 arrived to ny at 10 3 pm and managed to make it to matthewmarks and get the keys for Will's place from Philip. the way to Will's pad was complicated by some rail repair issues, but pookie has a college degree and he figured it out. Talked with Adam for a bit, and eventually ended up hanging with Justin at riceny.com well into 11 pm. A nice ( Read more... )

Always great to hear of your adventures! You'll let us know when the Millo interview is ready I trust? I'm eagerly expectant!

Last year I had a ticket to see Brenda Harris in "Orazi e Curiazi" in St. Paul, but came over horrible sick & couldn't go -- big disappointment. I'm still looking forward to hearing her live. She doesn't seem to get out to California much.

Re: Netrebko -- I really am of two minds on her. She was strong in Russian material here in SF -- in "the Tsar's Bride" she actually kept up with Borodina! -- but more recently I think she's let her unique qualities take second place to glamor and stardom. Oh well.
