Obama is worrying me

in singing, sometimes you can hear someone singing notes from "above", looking down and pressing the placement where the notes are. thats the kicker. then you hear another singer singing the same thing, and pretty well too, but this time, you sense that they're under the notes, looking up, and reaching up for them ( Read more... )

I can't help but truly wonder about this election. On one hand, who stands a better chance of being elected a woman or a non white male?

I must say I prefer Hillary, in addition to her position on many subjects, on the mere fact she is a woman. She won't have a problem bucking the traditional good ole boys club since she has never ane will never be one of them.

I also can't help but wonder, if she does win, what the wolrd leaders of countries that consider women property or less than men will react. Margaret Thatcher etc were one thing. The President of USA is quite another.

I haven't watched much election coverage. She owned the stage. She seemed confident and well informed.

"who stands a better chance of being elected a woman or a non white male?"

don't you mean an African American or Vaginal American? :P

Obama, IMO, is very Hitler-esque.
He's telling people what they WANT to hear, building a momentum on the (false) promises he's making to the people.
i.e. unifiying America after the "evil" Republicans have torn us apart and made the "world" hate us.

In a crunch, he'll get us all killed.

I ask people like this..

Would you rather a woman who's been driving for 20 years get behind the wheel of your $100,000 SUV, all that power at her command, and make sure that the people you love the most are all passengers...

Or Would you rather have a 20 year old with only a few years behind the wheel to his credit?

When push comes to shove..I'll take the Old Lady ANY DAY!

mind you, i think he is FABULOUS, and their platforms are pretty similar (same, really, minus some nuances). But I like the driving analogy and frankly, i think he comes off rather pompous. I actually dont hate mccain that much either...as long as you dont look at that neck...

Arrogant and Pompous.
Yep.
That is exactly the way I'd describe him.
Once I got the Hitler reference outta the way that is. ;)

i didn't see the whole thing....but it sounded like a "he said, she said" argument....they both seem weak to me.

i don't know. nobody really appeals to me at this point.

what I dont get is the circus quality of it. Edwards was basically edged out of the race just because the media wasnt paying enough attention and he didnt have money for more commercials. its kinda fucked

I agree with this logic.
