Right.

Cause there's no reason to be upset when our friend's parents are killed. There's no reason to be upset when there are new Unforgivables. There's no reason to be upset when evil surrounds us on all sides, and there's not a bloody thing we can do about it.

You're a git, Daphne.

I'm not saying there isn't a reason to be upset, Longbottom. I'm saying that being upset is superflous and exactly what the Dark Lord wants you all to be so that He can have time to plan his next attack. Don't you see? Being upset clouds your judgement.

Accepting it and then being upset when it's over--because you can bloody well do something about it--is what we should be doing.

Or do you really want to be killed because you and everyone else are weeping over dead bodies and not planning revenge?

I've faced down Voldemort's Death Eaters twice, and obviously I haven't died yet. Believe me when I tell you, my emotions give me focus. My anger helps me through my fear, and remebering how upset I am forces my mind to work faster, and harder.

We are reactionary. We wait for Voldemort to attack, and hope we have enough resources and people in the right place at the right time to deal with it.

And I'm sick of it. I think I was sick of it before Voldemort returned. Someone needs to just hurry up, and take him out.

So, Daphne, since you are so wise, apparently, what is YOUR plan? How should we go about getting our revenge?

Working faster and harder sometimes makes you make mistakes.

And my idea for revenge?

Malfoy.
