I finally saw this movie, twice in fact! I don't really have a review, but I do have a few questions. Like when Veer's older, approximately 40, why is it that he looks so old, but in real life he's near that age but looks nothing like that? I don't know, I guess that must've been the only way to express time. Also, I liked this soundtrack for the most part, but after watching all the songs, I liked them so much more. I loved hearing Udit! If Shah Rukh could ever sing, Udit's voice would surely come out! I don't think Lata's voice suits...anyone really. She's a great singer, but someone else should've done it. Oh well, it's not a big deal, right? :) I was just so excited about the movie. At first I thought Preity was killed in the begining, made me sad to think there would be no happy ending! Of course, that changed. I was also so surprised to see that Zaara called off the wedding after she thought Veer died. Something else that gets me is how they fall in love after being around eachother for 2 days. I know falling in love can happen in an instant, but come on! I think it's so cray that someone is willing to risk their life for someone they've known for two days. Bu I guess that what Veer Pratap Singh does for a living right? Risking his life everyday.
This movie made me like Shah Rukh Khan more, and watching him age in it got me to think about how his roles will soon change to father roles. Scary thought. I'll get over it shortly after it happens, but still...some people you never get tired of seeing, right? I wish I was in a bollywood movie. I say we all write parts for ourselves and act it out. Maybe send it to a director, aye? :-p
