I feel fantastic.

I went to my St. Clements School reunion this weekend and I feel like I have done a major spring clean on the inside of my head. I am back to being me. The real me.

I have spent YEARS, almost decades really; living with the anger and pain of being bullied at that school by the girls who went there. I had been offered in the past

As someone who was also bullied (elementary school, private school etc), I totally get this post! I've never gone back to any alumni events for the very same reason. I've sent a few emails to the school to post on alumni news with significant news I can flaunt (lol - getting tenure and promotion), but there are 2 guys who bullied me so badly I really never want to see them again.

And yes, I think the kids who were/are bullied make very strong people in the end. Welcome to the Dollhouse resonated with me and tons of my friends who were all bullied.

I was bullied from kindergarten to gr. 13 (they had gr. 13 then) and I have never gone to a single reunion. For similar reasons. Something to consider.. or re consider as it were
