I'm glad Baby Smith is doing well, even if you don't know the gender yet. I was wondering if you guys would find out.
I had to have so many ultrasounds with Theo, one a week during the last tri-mester, so we were sure he was a boy... with Ellie I just had the one at twenty weeks and they told me "girl," but I didn't 100% believe it until she came out.
Anyways, enough babbling, I guess I'm just excited about babies! Have you decided what to name it if it's a boy or girl?

Its ok to be excited. I remember you had to have a bunch of ultra sounds with theo. I was scared that was what they were telling me so i would rather have it take two hours this time rather then have to keep coming back and plan on a c-section.

I have some ideas on names. I think we have a girl name picked out and the middle name for a boy. Just got to work on the first name. I am torn between a couple.

I am excited. If you ask Ruth what the baby is going to be-she will tell you out right, the baby is a boy mommy. I have no idea but they say kids have an uncanny sense.

If anyone would know it would be Princess Ruth. Kids know things....

Glad to hear that the ultrasound (eventually) turned out well :) I'm jealous that you can feel your little one already - my darned 'anterior placenta' is keeping me from feeling him move around.

I don't feel it much. just once and a long while i till feel when it turns over. I have a tilted cervex so i don't feel it really strongly yet. plus since it is my second its more normal for me to feel it a tiny bit earlier then the first pregnancy. Give it another couple of weeks though, you might be feeling it and not really aware that it is the baby moving that you feel. I felt like it was forever with ruth before i could feel her, like i was 24-25 weeks before i was sure that it was her moving. even then i was still confused.

Stubborn baby! Well at least they can see he/she has all the basic parts, regardless of sex!

yeah, they were kind of over kill on the U/S. I think they were a little more paranoid than necessary and it started to make bradley and myself panic. fortunately it is all good and the baby is a whole human with everythine in tact.

i was told that there was a sort of heart thing that showed up, that seems to show up alot in babies with down syndrome but that i had passed those tests pretty strongly so they think it is nothing. i think mostly they told me to keep me aware that no test could be 100% effective until the baby comes out!
