im pissed that i just spent $112 on plexiglass to build a fucking pedestal for 3 pieces that probably cost me just as much to make, less in fact, because some of the materials i used were provided by the studio. id also like to point out that im pretty damn sure i break less blades per inches cut than anyone else in my class, or actually, anyone else currently in the art department, and i know that because the only other two metalsmithing majors dont have the patience to cut half of the things i make.
