What was really disturbing was on the same day it was announced to the Columbia Community that a grad student at the school of Journalism had been brutally raped (like, he followed her into her apartment and help her hostage for 30 hours). He was at large from Tuesday until Friday. But ResPrograms was too busy making us feel safe because people can buy guns and shoot up a campus (a possiblity we've had to live with since...oh, 7th grade?) that they didn't have time to make us feel more safe from the CRAZY RAPIST AT LARGE.

We had two rapes( and not questionable date rapes) in my dorm over one summer...no one told us either...security gaurds just slowly changed. OH, and right off campus we had a girl AX MURDERED in her boyfriends house while he split to Mexico. I don't remember getting a warning email.

So that they blame the VT police and faculty is rediculous.
