i dont consider myself a jealous person. in fact i think of jealousy as one of the worst emotions one can submit to.

and yet i watch other people enjoying what i want and it hurts. Does that make me a jealous person? i think in a sense, yes, because i want what they have. and that makes me feel ugly inside. jealousy disgusts me.

I think what you mean is envy. And it's completely normal. Everyone is envious at some point.

Envy- 1: painful or resentful awareness of an advantage enjoyed by another joined with a desire to possess the same advantage

Jealous- 1 a: intolerant of rivalry or unfaithfulness b: disposed to suspect rivalry or unfaithfulness 2: hostile toward a rival or one believed to enjoy an advantage 3: vigilant in guarding a possession
