Oh Wow, this just so captures the relationship between Ollie and Dinah, the rollercoster of love and pain and drama and tears. I can so see this happening to them and Dinah finally having the power to let go.

I'm so happy that you enjoyed it. I've always loved both Ollie and Dinah, I'm such an arrow fan. (Though I love Dinah more than Ollie.) They're so in love, but something (usually Ollie) always wrecks things for them. I've always loved this song, it has a lot of personal meaning for me. I wanted to fic it and Ollie/Dinah seemed like a perfect fit.

I was planning on writing some Valentine's Day fluff for the challenge, but this is what came out. I'd been wanting to write this songfic for a while and suddenly the bunny starting gnawing on my ankles and the words just flowed. Ollie and Dinah are so dynamic, so over-the-top, that Valentine's Day seemed like the perfect night for her to find the strength to leave... again.
