It is well known that the "most important issue" on the California ballot has been resolved; California has re-instituted a ban on gay marriage. As a supporter of gay rights, I am disappointed in the people of my state

I woke up this morning wanting to move to a state that hasn't legalized discrimination. Then I wondered if there is such a state. At least I can spend my vacation in a state that allows gays to marry.

To add to what you're saying, I was talking with one of my lesbian friends (who recently got married) a few weeks ago. She believes in God and believes that God doesn't make mistakes. He made her who she is for a reason. I have to agree with her.
