We'll take some! We're "abnormally dry"!

Dear North America

Did Texas secede at some point?

This is Texas we're talking about, here. They don't even lower their flag below the US one, when they fly it.

It gets more severe by the day here.
...makes no sense how we can have storm clouds and
thunder and then not enough rain falls to even do
a good job of wetting the road.

Hey, I was in Texas for about five hours on Sunday!

It was supposed to be three, but there was a thunderstorm and the baggage handlers decided to stop loading the plane halfway through. (At Dallas-Fort Worth)

So, I can totally sympathize. Stupid rainy Texas.

Yeah, I was lucky when I flew back here from California. I had the best pilot ever. That guy could slalom cumulonimbus clouds, and find tunnels through squall lines like nobody I've ever seen. We were all in such awe of this guy that we cheered, when he landed the plane. If I were storming the Death Star, I'd want him on my side.

Heh, I guess it's better than when my image links just plain break. We're still really not hurting for water here. The spring rains recharged the local supplies, and heck, it rained just Saturday. This place is really pretty rainy for an area where cacti grow.
