I stayed up until 2:30am last night finishing up this video. I just couldn't quit until it was finished =P It's my second Stargate Atlantis video, this ones focus is all on one episode, Epiphany. The character focus is still mainly on John Sheppard. I know Joe Flanigan co-wrote Epiphany to give a little more insight on John Sheppard, which I think

aww, I have this whole sad theme going for Sheppard =( I'll write more to that story, though I'm not sure if it will get happier =/

Nice vid, and it is sad indeed. But the episode in itself is sad so...

I don't think he really fell for Teer and I'm not sure he was very sad when he saw her ascend. Actually, I think he's not close to anyone, or rather he let noone to get too close to him. And THAT is sad. (it also makes me want to hug him, but that's another story! :P)

I agree, I really didn't feel he got emotionally close with Teer (I personally didn't like her so I'm glad he didn't) but I think in some ways even being physically close he lets his guard down and is able to get hurt as much as he'd like to keep his emotions held back from people. If theres any woman he is close to and would be emotionally close to would be Teyla or Liz.
I think you're right about how he really doesn't let anyone very close to him, that is sad =( I hope in season 3 we'll get a bit more of a look at Shep's past and maybe some insight on his issues.

I agree. Even if he doesn't let anyone see what he's feeling, it doesn't mean he doesn't feel anything. (Awww, poor Shep... makes me want to hug hime more! :P)
Agree too about Teyla or Liz, even if you know which one my preference goes to ;)
And finally agree too with wanting to see more of Shep's past in S3!

I read on gateworld about an ep in S3 thats supposed to dip a bit more into Shep's military past, so maybe *hopefully* we'll get to see what makes Shep, Shep.

Aww you're so right, he needs hugs... lots of them. You and I can just take turns hugging him ;) hehe

I know who you'd prefer Shep getting with, and you know I go back and forth on that. I really can't make up my mind. I need some influence to finally just pick a side =P Sometimes I'm like "Okay, Shep and Teyla, for sure!" and then it fades or I see an ep that just makes me say "Shep has to be with Liz, its the only way"... its really frustrating *rolls eyes* I guess really either way I'd be happy even though I know neither one is going to happen anytime soon =/
