I don't think so.
Dora's all yellow and pastel green (when she isn't pink) and she's always wearing dresses. She doesn't even have the same type of "dangerous" adventures of her cousin Diego. She's rescuing stars and returning library books.

My problem is with the freaking out over the fact she looks older, and the fact that she's headed towards puberty is upsetting *parents*. I can't help but wonder if this is a sign of how they will react when their own daughters get that age.
I feel like I am having flashbacks to when I read "The Last Battle", and found out that menarche apparently make Baby Aslan cry (i.e., Susan doesn't join the rest of the gang in the post-Narnia afterlife, due to her interest in "nylons, lipstick and invitations".)

When their daughters hit puperty - feaking out won't even cover the issues. A few of the kids will remain terrified and submissive - just ripe for pedophiles. I mean what's better than someone to cowed to object? or they will do the 360 challenge in which all rules are stupid by association.
Bristow Palin's situation will be a step up for a lot of these poor kids.
