I find Hirst's The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living really interesting since I have the "oh ick... hey that's kind of cool!" reaction to it, and it reminds me a bit of the Memento Mori theme in art. However, I also realize that I might be giving him too much credit. That, and I am glad that I don't work in a museum where I'd be responsible for taking care of it in the event it sprang a leak. ;-) Getting covered in stinky carcinogenic mess is not a great way to start one's day!
