How come I never want what I already have?

I've came to the conclusion I'm a person who'll never be pleased.
With anything.
Or anyone.

And suddenly, I want a relationship with God.
Or, I decided this a week ago.
Not like, a relationship based on organizational religion.
Just, some sort of relationship?
