I teared-up for Noodle! Nothing impacts me as deeply has animals do. (Oddly, I even feel weird referring to them as animals, but haven't found another all-encompassing noun to use.)

I have that same ambivalence about "animals"! The word doesn't describe the kindred connection I feel.
