Person of Interest-2x1 The Contingency summary
It was a bad idea to play the drinking game with this episode. One of the rules is to take two drinks every time there's a flashback. I pretty much chugged my drink during the opening montage.
Even though I hate Root for what she's done to Finch, I have to admit, she's a fascinating villain. She kind of reminds me of Ben Linus, she shares several of his mannerisms.
Love how Reese just shows up in Carter's house and makes himself at home. Although, I wouldn't object if he showed up at my house.
Reese in the library "Come on Finch, help me find you." ♥ Squee! It was amazing to see how disconnected he was without Finch. How many times did Reese say "my friend" in this episode? <3 Their friendship gives me life.
Yay Ken Leung as Leon! I loved him on Lost and Leon definitely reminded me of Miles. And anytime I think about Ken Leung, I think about this awesome scene in Keeping the Faith.
The look on those prisoners faces with Leon faked a heart attack and escaped...priceless.
Major loling at "It's a sex thing, you got a problem with it?" That was a total Miles Straume moment.
Fusco tied to a chair with a gag ball in his mouth was maybe the best moment of the whole episode. And then of course Reese's little speech.
"I'm just here to find my friend. See I don't have many friends, just the one in fact."
"Hey!"
"Ok, maybe two."
I need a gif of that guy flying through the window and then Reese, Fusco, and Leon walking out unscathed.
"I don't want to hear one word about this. You hear me, we're going back to my cruiser in total silence."
"Sure thing Lionel, like a gag order." Ha! Reese and Fusco have some of the best lines in the whole show.
Reese's interactions with the dog in the car were adorable!
Reese getting angry and telling the machine what to do? Excuse me, it just got kind of hot in here. *fans self*
"He saved my life, understand, and I won't do this without him."
Lol at Reese's reaction to the guy beating up Leon.
"Hey! Pick on someone your own size...or someone a little closer to it."
Awesome poetic justice when the African American cop took out the white supremacist.
"I've never seen you almost lose."
"I wasn't losing, I was just resting." Sure Reese, sure ;)
"I can't believe it, it ate all the bearer bonds."
"That's it, we'll call him Bear." Gah! *insert giant goofy smile*
"Your friend, I hope you find him, he's lucky to have you." Awwww.
If I was Carter I'd be pretty pissed if Reese showed up to my house and said we were going to Texas. Yeah sure, I can just drop everything for you to help you find your boss. My boss and kid will be just fine with that.

So Root apparently went missing 14 years ago in Texas? Hope we find out some more about her in the next episode.
I wonder who the couple Root drugged were? Maybe they had something to do with her disappearance as a child?
