Wow.. That is an ASSload of movies. If I had a job, I'd probably not see that many movies. If I won the lottery and had millions of dollars free, I wouldn't see that many movies.
Going to the movies with a friend always always is.
Going to matinee showings helps with the whole poor issue, as well. And the movies are well worth the price, for me. I know everyone doesn't feel this way, though. I find it harder and harder to get someone to go to the theater with me. Almost everyone I know rents or downloads now. :(
I just can't describe the gleeful, happy feeling I get when I'm sitting in a theater and those lights go down. I can't explain it. My sister would just say I'm a freak and move on.
I love the experience of going to a movie theater, sitting in the humongous dark room, gigantic screen filling my vision, surround sound speakers filling my ears, countless stories unfolding before me. I get excited every single time. I enjoy even the bad movies, because I still get that great feeling of anticipation and excitement when the lights go down, and the movie starts.

But then at the end of the year I could make a long list of the movies I saw and it would be worth it.
