This is getting annoying

I've mentioned this before, but it's getting worse, so here goes again...

LJ doesn't want me having friends.

For the last n period of time, I've been reasonably certain that the number of friends' entries I can see has been decreasing. Once upon a time I could see 150+ entries. More recently, I've only been able to see the last three pages worth

Hmm, could it be layout related? Although I know they've fiddled some with [new] layouts lately, maybe someone forgot to set something up properly.. I on the other hand find myself having too much entries to wade through.. wanna swap problems? :P

I thought it might be the same thing - maybe the layout is only showing "recent" entries.
