Does anyone believe it exists? truly? No jokes about girls having guy-friends around as safety nets. WTF. Why do the guys have a really hard time grasping that concept?! Really miss having lots of guy friends. Maybe thats an age thing. Nothings innocent anymore.

I believe that it can exist it just has to be set up in a very specific way. I think you have to take into account why and under what circumstances the guy becomes your friend. If it's because he asked you out and you turned him down but said you could still be friends, that's probably not going to be a simple innocent friendship.

He's still holding out hope and thinking he can change your mind. He has ulterior motives and that's no friendship. I've seen happen all too often with my sister.

It's a rare thing but not impossible to have a guy who is just friend.

For me the problem usually arises at the stage of, we either go out, or I want nothing to do with you. Many guys I meet, don't have female friends.
