You spelled "truly" correctly.
Have you ever considered hypnosis? Seriously.

I haven't, I've never really heard about that for nail biting. I tried to calm myself by various means though. Medition didn't work because it took too long, and it took a few weeks to know if it was actually going to help you, and I wasn't sure if I was doing it right anyway. I still do it sometimes at night, but I find myself dosing off to sleep rather than concentrating on keeping my mind clear. Also, we lost my meditation book in the move. Psychiatrists and psychologists didn't help, because all three said they were in no position to diagnose me with any kind of nervous disorder. Anyway, as for being nervous, I've calmed down plenty over the past year or so. I haven't bitten my nails all day though!

I miss you.

Truly. I checked Google's dictionary option, www.dictionary.com, and www.dictionary.co.uk (if there's no e in truly in American English OR UK English, you KNOW there isn't an e period. :P).

Btw - I had the same problem you do: I used to ALWAYS bite my nails. I was never able to identify the problem, though, but I have tremendous self-control, so when I actually started caring, I just told myself not to. Actually, I just started caring a few weeks ago; I used to bite big-time before that. I haven't bitten in a week at least, so if you look at my hands, I've got really long nails right now. I guess it wasn't that big of a problem for me, considering the fact that I could just stop out of the blue without trying balm or whatnot. Leah could be right as well - I asked a friend of mine and she said that hypnosis worked for a friend of hers who used to bite her tongue all the time.
