So I'm never going to finish that meme from June, but I am going to try to post again more regularly.  Win/Win?  I think very yes.

Life kinda has gotten away from me lately, but I'm trying to reground myself.  School is going fabulously so far, though some big assignments are coming due next week, so I need to get my rear in gear and work on them ( Read more... )

I've been doing Postcrossing for maybe six months or so, it's lots of fun getting random postcards in your mailbox!

It's been on my radar as something I should do and want to do for about 5-6 YEARS, and I just never got around to it. I finally just did it the other night, and had so much fun going through my post card collection and picking out ones for the people on my list! I'm going to keep an album of sent and received postcards on FB, so you can see them!

What are the best ones you've received and sent out?

My username on Postcrossing is Pandria (you'll see this icon as my usericon there). I've saved many of my favorite received postcards onto my postcard wall. I don't scan in any postcards (too much effort) that I've sent out, but I enjoy finding just the right postcard to send depending on the receiver's preferences - I've got quite a lot to choose from, and you can find booklets of postcards on Amazon pretty inexpensively, so I've got some Renoir postcards, Fairy Tale postcards, lighthouse postcards, etc.

One of the favorite ones that I've received was a wooden postcard in the shape of Taiwan, with little icons and Chinese writing on it. So cute!

I looked you up. LOVE that Nursery Rhymes one! And the wooden one sounds amazing! I can't wait to start receiving cards. Lord knows how long that might take, though!
