Thank you! I can't blame you there! I think Kate and I both sympathize most with Lil!

Totally! Taking Jessie's perspective was a serious challenge. I need to enter the mind of a bully for another story I'm writing, though, so this was a great warm-up!

I have a fondness for characters named Lilith. ;)

Yay is all good and relatable! My best friend from kindergarten to 10th grade turned on me in 10th grade, so yeah.

Lilith is a fabulous name!

I'm glad you thought the story was good and relatable! My bestie turned on me in elementary, too. It's rough. Boo for bad friends!! I was lucky in that down the line we were able to become friends again. Never as close as we had been, but friends.

Thanks! Unfortunately, yeah, we can most of us have some relation to this tale. I don't mind remembering middle/high school, but I sure don't want to have to relive it!! Ugh!!

"magpie" haha ;) nice.

I also liked the way both girls threw most of their lunches away because they were each too worked up to actually eat. Very teenager.
