Interesting concept. This topic reminded me faintly of Peter Pan, but I hadn't yet seen anyone tackle the idea. I do like the perspective switch. You could have easily written about the Lost Boys on Neverland, yet you chose their families instead.

Your stories of the parents are so clever and touching and feel so true. In a way, I'd much rather have no introduction, and a more subtle connection to the Peter Pan story, so that I could discover the fairy-tale-ness after believing the stories of the parents. Great concept, and the individual stories are so well-executed.

Always interesting to see the other side of the story. Very creative and well done.

I also liked the choice to write not about the Lost Boys themselves, but how how terribly it affected their families-- almost every one of them, in completely different ways. Having a child (especially a very young one) just "disappear" is the kind of thing that would haunt you forever.
