In what seems like the space of a heartbeat I transition from poring over a study guide on the way to school to gasping for breath in the cold, nauseated with a sense of lost time. I'm glad things finally got better. It's funny how ordeals can haunt our dreams years later. I have some things that haunt my dreams (not an accident but others) I guess the mind never forgets.

We're both fine now. She still has weakness on her left side (we were T-boned on her side), and my back is messed up from this and other car accidents we were in while I was growing up, but that's normal to me.
