Yay for more English Majors! Ever hear of a guy named Alex Cameron? He was a TV news anchor in OKC... not sure if he's still doing that sort of work now, but he went to my college.

We can always use a bit of the blarney, so pleased to meet you!

I can't say as I know of Alex Cameron, but until 2 months ago, I'd gone 10 years without a tv, and I still don't watch the news (barely turn the darned machine on), so he may be around and I wouldn't know it.

Anyway, I'm glad you stopped by! It's a pleasure to meet you!

Thank you! It's quite the balance, but it's my balance, and what only makes sense to me.

I adore that icon, too. I love the kittens tucked away. I just wish I could know what the book titles are! What if I'm being represented by books I hate?!? I assume they are books I do or would love. ^_^

I hope you get to see your family soon. You're awfully far from home.

Your job sounds quite intense. It takes a special person to do what you do.

Thanks! I am far from home in body, but never far in heart.

It is a very intense job, but it's very rewarding, too. At the end of the day, no matter how hard it gets, I know I do good and make a difference. What more could I ask for? (Other than better pay...)
