Though I was never good at playing most of them myself, I've always enjoyed watching others play video games. There are many setbacks on the road to leveling up. You have discovered, as I often hope my students will, that fighting challenging monsters yields better experience(s).

I have never thought that video games are useless, but you explain why much better than I could. And I think the description of the LEP as a "hidden world" is apt.
