Recently, I've been contemplating the statement, "Please, stop the chairs." While I'm amused by the statement and its backstory, I find myself struck by what I see to be deeply profound meaning contained in its desperation and urgency.

I have no idea what the backstory is for this phrase, but it makes me think of Eugene Ionesco's absurdist play "The Chairs." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Chairs
