Fuck, where have I been?

The answer is unanswerable, but has something to do with pi.

At anyrate, this is a quick broadcast to throw out some dirt from my stilted brainmeats:Has there been a science-fiction television series that offered up a more satisfying (in terms of character AND story) series finalé than Star Trek: The Next Generation?

Babylon 5, I think, with the caveat that the series finale really happens at the end of Season 4, when they thought they had to end the series, not in Season 5 when they really had to.

Due to Legend of the Seeker being unlikely to find a home for a third season, I actually had a very similar conversation just yesterday. I ended up going off on a five minute rant about Sliders and Mighty Max...

Legend of the Seeker is totally gone, sadly.

But SLIDERS, man? That show was NEVER good. EVER.

...

But I still piss and moan about Brimstone and VR5 being canceled, so what do I know?

Yes, but at no point did either of us claim that the sci-fi shows we watch had to be "good", only that their finales were considerably less satisfying.

I'm looking for more satisfying. ;)

And yeah, X-Files tanked the show pretty hard. The last two seasons were "mostly awful" with side helpings of "hey...THIS one was good, though."
