Wow. That's disappointing. I didn't see too many movies, but:

I loved three movies (Juno, Grindhouse, Superbad); I really liked four movies (Hostel Part II, The Simpson's Movie, Spiderman 3, Hot Fuzz), and was either content/apathetic towards (AVP:R, Hairspray, The Bourne Supremacy, Live Free or Die Hard, POTC 3), disapointed with (Halloween, 28 ( Read more... )

A quick comment on Spiderman 3 - was Bruce Campbell's scene not the best in the entire film? Seriously.

Also - Bryce Dallas Howard provided probably one of the most dramatic make-overs of the year. I still can't believe that was her.

300 was garbage, no matter how much I enjoyed looking at Sean Bean and Gerard Butler, and I still can't decide if Walk Hard was hilarious or awful.

walk hard was not hilarious.

but i think it was a better biography film than walk the line.

Sadly, that's true enough. Everyone was so shocked by Walk the Line not getting nominated as Best Picture, but it was resting firmly on its two leads being excellent to keep it from total mediocrity.

I want to see There Will Be Blood. Daniel Day Lewis is amazing.
