It's been a very long wait (I've been camped out in the field for the past two weeks since Piceur started showing signs that she was just about to foal) but at about 02:45 she finally had her foal! How cute!! Sounds even more stressfull than having a human baby though :).

She looks like she's making a good mum!

She is a very good mum! The foal was looking very large so we had to be around to call the vet the moment she started foaling (hence the camping) but the birth actually went without problems. By the time the vet arrived she was already out. :-)
