I need bicycle help.

Does anyone know anything about bicycles? I have a bike that I want to sell but I don't know anything about it. I got it as a present from my boss a couple of years ago so I didn't buy it and it didn't come with any paperwork etc. It is much to nice for me. I have an old bike that more than meets my needs. I need to know how many gears it has.

The number of gears or speeds a bike has is the number of chainrings on the front times the number of sprockets on the cassette in the rear. It looks like you've got three chainrings and six sprockets on the cassette, that would be 18 gears.
