Serious? I met a few who were okay with it in NUS med and I was really shocked. It's especially rare in Singapore. I suppose it's rare in all Asian countries. But then again, you're the one surrounded by lots of straight boys so you should know right XD
Yea, I was homophobed by one of my parents' friends that I'd known for a very long time. It wasn't blatant. It was just the implications plus the tone of voice. I got pissed and left. (Btw, I love that song)
But it's more of a cultural thing that straight boys tend to be more homophobic. I mean there's so much pressure on them to be "manly" and being gay is synonymous with being feminine or wussy. It's not so much homophobia as it is just scared of not being manly or the like.
Btw this is such a random laggy comment XD Not that it's not welcome though! Yeah I guess so. Why is it that in every group of straight boys I meet there is ONE WHO ANNOYS THE HELL OUT OF MEEEEEEE??!?!?!
Oh cuz I wasn't like..signed in, so that's the first post I saw. But yes, cuz they're straight boys! I really should be doing a run right now but I'm just..fully too lazy. >
