By the Light of the First Quarter Moon

We met up with some friends in Millville for Third Friday after we visited Thundersun Forge to pick up the engagement ring. Chris and I had a nice night out with our friends. There tends to be a few too many teenagers lining the streets for Third Friday, but it wasn't too bad though some of the groups of teens seemed obnoxious

I thought he already proposed.

No, Chris had not previously proposed. Years ago, David had proposed...poorly but this was a new event with Chris.

Last month, Chris and I took my mother's engagement ring to the shop where we wanted my ring made, dropped it off and made the down payment. Last night, we picked up the finished ring, took it home and Chris proposed when we got home...while were outside under a lovely night sky.
