I hated all team sports because I was always one of the last ones to be chosen.  As a child, that was crushing..........something you never forget and just writing this, the hurt is still there......

Away from school I loved to roller skate. I would spend a lot of time doing this in hopes of one day being on roller derby!....lol

I remember having the roller skates with the key! But roller derby? I remember watching that on tv too. Is roller derby on tv these days?

I haven't seen roller derby on tv for a very long time. I just know when I was 12-14 years old it was something I always watched and then would go out and practice skating. I never had the roller skates with the key.

I must be that old - the key was used to tighten the skates. The skates I had fit over your shoes and were some kind of heavy metal.

Damn, I am getting old....
