I think the biggest blessing/curse that has been placed on my head by the universe is that I am empathetic. I feel the pleasure of others, and it makes me happy. The reverse is also true, in that when I hear someone having a hard time with life, it makes me sad... almost like its happening to me. Over the past few weeks, I have experienced too

Actually its bypass-induced lactose intolerance, I get it drinking milk too. Cheese is more tolerable, because the lactose doesn't hit my small intestine all at once like liquid forms do. Its something I now have to live with... but I so do love the ice cream.
