Jolly cold here today, but beautiful - crisp, clear, lovely golden sunlight. I am off to take my camera out for a while and get feed for the chickens and children. I like Fridays!

Back at school today - I've not been in for weeks, what with half-term and chest infections. My voice still isn't right and I was losing projection by the end of the day but it was good to be back in the classroom. DH and I took the offspring to Eurodisney this week. Dear God, it was FREEZING! The kids had a great time, but I am very glad to be home, in my own bed, with my own duvet and my cats and my fire and my wifi. Why do I ever leave home?

Pottered around town yesterday - a book signing by Jasper Fforde, lunch with my new book, a meander around the shops. I am beginning to feel more like myself and am actually looking forward to going to work this week. Partly this the glow from winning at games last night. I am tired, tired, tired. It's weird how quickly you lose the ability to function adequately on a few hours of broken sleep once your kids are past that stage.
