Title: Chapter 1 - Der Turm
Pairing: Severus/Lucius
Rating: PG-13

Warning + A/N: More plot than smex, just to warn you. If you haven’t tried dragon’s beard candy, try to, but it’s more a Chinese candy. You eat it twirling the mass of candy on two sticks, which is really fun if you’re a kid, and even if you’re not.

Don’t be stupid.

Personal canon alert!
Though I write SS/LM romps where they've been together since long before Severus was legal, I think this guarded mutual repsect which hasn't yet bloomed into sex, is much more realistic. But I also enjoyed it as a nice piece of potential pre-slash.
Like the Slug Club too. Horace rocks! x

I thought it was tragedy enough. XD And yes... I am willing to bet that's the reason why Bella doesn't like Snape so much, because he's always "better than her"! But others are better than you only if you let them.

Part Two real soon.

PS. What's a ... personal canon alert?

Oh, sorry, they're talking a lot about Personal Canons in an HP community (can't remember which one just now). It refers to motivations or events which aren't actually featured in canon, but which you firmly believe in anyway (often without realising it!) e.g. a past relationship between Lucius and Severus, or that Sirius' motivation for sending Snape to the Shrieking Shack was jealousy about some kind of closeness between him and Lupin. Also less slashy things like Harry being the final horcrux, or that Lucius and Narcissa have a loveless arranged marriage.

The curious way your boys are watching each other, but without much actual interaction struck me as being very realistic. I doubt Lucius would have been seen having much to do with a strange-looking much younger boy. (Though it's fun to imagine otherwise!)

Sorry, that was a very long-winded response! Loved it, anyway xxx

Haha, I live in an Asian country where I'm well-placed to enjoy Dragon Beard Candy.

I'm surprised anyone actually commented on this old rubbish ^^;
