Am annoyed.

Plan to get up early and don sexy outfit for St. Patrick's day festivities down the tubes. Plan to get to work early so as to leave early down the tubes.

New plan: wear same outfit to work twice in one week - show up at post work festivities late, looking like frump queen from planet blech.

It's the luck of the Irish (which for some reason people always assume is good). Similar here...I set my alarm for 7:05 and planned to wear the sexy new green shirt I got last year...ended up getting up at 7:45 and having to wear a summer-weight shirt with a frumpy sweater because aforementioned sexy shirt was too tight. The day is still young, though, and has a lot of time to get better.
