If we a a society are always laying the blame for a child's bad behavior solely at the feet of the parents, what is that teaching the child?
it teaches the child that their parents are wrong, and always to blame. And then the kid isn't at fault. And parents shouldn't be listened to. And then when the kid has a kid, they're not going to try to improve what their parents did, they're going to deny that their parents actually taught them anything about raising children.

I'm living with one who was told that he never did anything wrong...and thus he continues to believe that to this day. It's so frustrating.
