Yesterday the fam went out to Hitchcock Park, that place is huge! I should know, Chuck and I hiked-with Abe-for hours. We were looking for the primitive camping area but did not find it. Yesterday we stopped at Narrow Rivers Park on a whim. It's owned by the county; they are more focused on conservation and generally take better care of their parks than the city/state. I was 2.25 hours late to work today. I woke up on time, left on time. My tire blew out on the interstate. I waited 2 hours at a gas station for a ride that wasn't coming. Now my sinus' are wrecked. After jumping the blown tire vehicle (I left the lights on-duh) my other vehicle slid down the side of the hill off of the interstate. Tow=$90. Tire=$20 ( Read more... )

Went and saw "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" Thursday after taking a shower. I considered a bath but I was staying at a place occupied by 4 men and by the looks of their toilet, a bath may not have left me cleaner or more relaxed. Wow. I had the best time at The Big Wu show last night here in Des Moines. I asked them to play Southern Energy and they just ran with it and blew me away. Floodplane opened for them.
