Kayaking

Today at work a guy showed me on his iphone that he googl mapped driving directions from Anaheim to Tokyo. The first part gave him directions to the beach. Then it told him to "kayak across the Pacific Ocean" to Hawaii. It gave him a few more driving directions, and then told him to carry on with the kayaking to Japan.

Now to do while avoiding freeways....

Okay, I had to try it. With or without Freeways it sends me all the way up to Washington. Seems to me like it might be a little faster to take Venice or Pico...
