How many were you feeding? I usually finish mine on the stove top, covering the pan to let the eggs poach to the desired consistency.

I was feed four people, but since I rarely cook dairy, I don't have many lids. And I don't have a pan big enough for ten eggs, which is what I was cooking. So I was going to use a baking dish.

l think even my 12" revereware pan would balk at 10 eggs.

I don't think I own a dairy pan that would hold ten eggs. I would have to use two. (Would foil work in lieu of a lid?)
