i would be remiss if i didn't tell you of my newest obsession.

recently, a vhs set of every single episode of twin peaks has come into my posession.  i remember my mother being an avid and obsessive watcher of the show when it aired originally.  being a naturally inquisitive person, i would ask my mom about the show.  and she would answer honestly

Dan actually has the first season on VHS, though I have yet to watch it with him.

oh man...it's so good...the first season only has a couple of scary parts.

do yourself a favor, take a saturday, have twin peaks time with dan. it's disturbing, but it's also fascinating...
