I am really happy that you are finding some relief. It sounds really promising and encouraging.

Thank you for sharing some details, maybe useful.

Super impressed with your dedication to the gym, and relieved that it is helping you. Nice to hear.

Thank you for your kind words. It would make me so happy to know that some of my efforts may help someone else in the same boat, so please let me know if you have any questions and I'll share my resources gladly!

A fandom friend of mine started doing the LCHF thing a year or two ago, though I think she called it a ketogenic diet? Sounds like the same thing, though. I can ask her for resources if you like, I know she cooks a lot so she might have recipe recs.

Yes, they are basically the same. If she's up for sharing, I'd love to hear her favorite sources/recipes!

I've been meaning to connect with you about the blood glucose issues, since you now have a pretty solid family history of it. Not sure how it would work with a vegan diet, but if you're not yet seeing your sugars rise, it's not a big deal. But I do wish I'd started to dial back the carbs at an earlier date, and now that you know about it, maybe you'll have a chance to head it off at the pass.

Love you! xoxo

Thank you, M! You are one of the reasons I'm still here on LJ, even if I don't post much... I've got a bit more navelgazing to offer in the next week, so stay tuned! xoxo

We are living at an amazing time. Fibromyalgia, which only a decade ago was considered a pretend ailment, now has some solid research documenting and supporting our experiences (not sure if you have fibro, but many other autoimmune issues are receiving good attention as well). Hang in there, don't deplete yourself unnecessarily, and stay tuned... I think things are going to get better for folks like us in the long run!

Catching up late on these posts, but I'm glad to hear it all and look forward to the rest of the series. I am so glad you've found stuff that works for your health, because I know for a while there you were dealing with a ton of pain. Happy to hear good news!
