Asthma :-(

Some of you know that we had been talking about night weaning because of our trip to hawaii. I was really afraid that it would mess with Thomas badly to wake up a few times a night to nurse, and to find someone besides me, and something besides a boob, to greet him. bummer about the asthma. Wolfie has heavy breathing so I worry about that as well.

What a great pediatrician you have!

You may have already looked into this, but it might not hurt to do some research on the connection between vaxes and *development* of asthma. I know I have read things about a suspected connection, but I have no idea which vaxes are suspect or whether delaying would help minimize risk or development/progression.

Not suggesting anything either way (and I hope you're not upset with me for mentioning it)...just throwing it in the hat.

I hope Thomas feels better soon.

Oh, certainly not upset with you for mentioning it! There are always aspects on both sides that I haven't considered. I'll have to check into the asthma/vax connection a bit more. Thanks for bringing it up!
